Auckland Bike Fit Terms & Conditions
Auckland Bike Fit will take all reasonable efforts to attend the booked service at the business location agreed with the customer at the time of booking. Standard hours during which the service will take place are listed on this website.
The customer agrees to pay for the agreed level of service immediately after the initial appointment unless another payment time has been agreed.
Auckland Bike Fit accepts cash or debit/credit cards as payment for all parts and services. Card payments will be made at the time and location of the service.
All work carried out during the course of the service is guaranteed for 30 days, excluding wear and tear. If you require any alterations or amendments relating to the original bike fit they will be completed at no extra cost within this time, outside of this time all extra work will be charged at $90per hour. A FREE follow up fit is also offered to all Bike fit Customers within 60 days of their original fit.
Auckland Bike Fit cannot be held responsible for any loss, costs, injury, or death as a result of any upgrades, alterations, adjustments, repairs, or servicing, agreed with the customer, and carried out during the course of the service.
Any extra parts required to complete the initial bike fit may need to be ordered and will require a second appointment. A second visit charge for call-out, labor, and parts may be payable. An estimate of which will be given if requested by the customer.
All parts and accessories required during or after your bike fit are all subject to availability. We do not manufacture any parts ourselves. All parts where possible are purchased through the New Zealand supplier. orders coming from overseas can sometimes take up to 6 weeks depending on the country of origin. We will contact you via SMS or email when the parts are available for collection or delivery.
Booking a service is no guarantee that the service will take place at the agreed time and place. In the rare event that a service cannot take place due to issues with Auckland Bike Fit attendance, Auckland Bike Fit will take all reasonable steps to rebook the service at a time convenient to the customer.
Auckland Bike Fit reserves the right to cancel or amend the service should condition require so.
There may be times that Auckland Bike Fit needs to amend these terms and conditions. On the rare occasion that this happens, Auckland Bike Fit reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they understand the latest terms and conditions.
Both the Client and Auckland Bike Fit have the right to terminate any Services Agreement for any reason, including the ending of services that are already underway. No refunds shall be offered, where a Service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway. Any payments that have been paid to us which constitute payment in respect of the provision of unused Services, shall be refunded. If we need parts such as handlebars, stems etc in order to fully complete the bike fit the customer must agree for us to order the items or agree to order themselves. if the customer decides not to purchase the recommended parts and we cannot complete the fit the full fit price will be payable, however a free follow up fit will be offered within 2 months of the fit date if or when the customer chooses to purchase the required parts.
Deposits:
A 25% deposit will be required at the time of booking for all 3D Bike Fits to secure your appointment. This amount will be credited to your bill on the day, so you only pay the difference outstanding. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, your deposit will be transferred to the new appointment as long as a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is given. For cancellations/changes less than 24 hours or no-shows, your deposit will be forfeited.
How much deposit will I need to pay?
Some of our bike fits require a deposit of 25% at the time of booking.
How can I pay my deposit?
You can pay your deposit via debit/credit card via our online booking system at the time of booking.
What If I’m unwell?
If you wake up the morning of your appointment and are unwell, especially with any cold or flu symptoms, simply call us ASAP, or leave a message if it’s outside of trading hours and we’ll run through some options with you.
Late arrivals:
If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we may need to modify the services we are able to deliver for you in order to maintain our schedule and not unfairly impact on clients booked after you. As the full amount of time has been allocated specifically for you in good faith, the full original service fee will apply.
If you arrive so late that your we cannot deliver the services requested, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and deposit retained to subsidise the cost to the business. For repeated no-shows/late cancellations, your full service fee may need to be paid in advance for future appointments to be secured.
What if I don’t need all the services I’ve booked?
Let’s say you’ve booked for a 3D Standard Bike Fit + a Saddle Fit, but now you feel that you don’t need the saddle fit. As long as you let us know within 24 hours of your booking we’ll adjust the timing without penalty to you. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full service fee will be required.
What if we are running late?!
We respect your time as much as we need you to respect ours, so if we find ourselves running more than 15 minutes late, we’ll contact you to advise, so that you are not kept waiting.
Gift Voucher – Terms & Conditions
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Unused values will not be refunded or attributed to any transactions after the expiry date.
– Gift vouchers can be redeemed against all Bike Fit Services at Auckland Bike fit
– Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, returned for a refund, have their balances consolidated to a new voucher or be replaced after expiry and are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities.
– If your purchase exceeds the value of the gift voucher, balance must be paid by cash, debit or credit card.
– Auckland Bike Fit reserves the right to cancel a gift voucher if we deem such action necessary. If so, we may either provide a replacement gift voucher of equivalent value unless we suspect fraud in relation to a gift voucher. The gift voucher remains our property.
– Auckland Bike Fit can vary or replace these conditions from time to time (including to introduce new fees)
Online Orders / Customer Orders
How do I return an item?
Online returns can be sent back to us within 30 days of receipt. Please ensure you have filled out the returns form along with the original invoice when sending your items back to us.
Have you received my returned items?
We will contact you when we have processed your request. We recommend that you return your items via registered mail, to ensure a safe and documented delivery. Auckland Bike Fit is not liable for the loss or damage of an item being returned.
How do I return a faulty item?
If a fault should appear we can exchange or refund
Any refunds will be made back to the original payment method i.e. credit card or gift card.
Postage Costs
Postage costs for returning items will be at your own expense. If your item is faulty please email info@aucklandbikfit.co.nz and we will arrange the return postage of your item/s
If an item/s is being exchanged for a different product, shipping fees for the exchange will be waived.
Lake Shoes Shipping & Returns
International Shipping is included in the cost of all Lake orders.
If we have sized you up in the studio and the shoe arrives and is an incorrect fit we will return the shoe to Lake HQ for a replacement in the correct size at no extra cost to you as long as the shoe is in unworn condition.
If you have provided the sizing info to us and have not been measured up in the studio and shoe is an incorrect fit we will return the shoe for a sizing replacement to Lake HQ but the customer will have to pay the return shipping costs.
How long until my refund is processed?
Refunds can take between 5-10 days until they appear back on your card/account.
