Shoe selection should be simple, the two deciding factors should be:

During our shoe fit consultation, we will take in-depth measurements of your feet, which will then dictate what brand, model, and size of shoe would work best for your feet.
The brands and respective models we choose have been carefully chosen to accommodate a wide range of foot types. Choosing the right shoe for you will be purely dictated by your foot type.
Most of the shoes sold in New Zealand are a narrow C Width fit and 85% of people here are actually a D width or above. by having the wrong type of shoe for your foot you are actually affecting the most important and primary contact point on the bike, your cleat to pedal interface.
During the assessment, we will also cover arch/foot support options, cleat float, and also measure you for correct forefoot tilt in order to make your pedal stroke as smooth and inline as possible.
You will receive a full report with all the above information allowing you to purchase the correct pair of shoes for your feet either from us or from your preferred retailer.
